With such an impressive working streak, Cassio is considered to be one of the best in the business.
However, there is a part of Cassio Audi’s life that has remained a secret to many of us. One thing that people have failed to understand is that Cassio was at one time a lead drummer for the Viper’s band, a talented group that dominated the Brazil music industry between 1985 and 1990. As a gifted individual, Cassio was able to help the group grow and expand in less than a decade. So spectacular was Viper’s transition that it moved from performing at local events to international concerts. As a band member, Cassio Audi worked together with individuals like Pit Passarell, Guilherme Martin, Hugo Mariutto, Andre Matos, and Felipe Machado. In its five years of existence, Viper’s band released many albums including the Theatre of Fate, Tem Pra Todo Mundo, Soldiers of Sunrise, All my Life, and Coma Rage.
After much success in the Band, Cassio Audi decided to leave the group in 1989 so as to pursue a different career path. Shortly after Audi’s exit, activities in the band declined, and Viper’s became inactive. Therefore, it was evident enough that Cassio Audi was incredibly instrumental in the operations of the group, and his exit caused a major blow to Viper’s residing members. Thanks to Cassio, the Brazilian people were able to enjoy music though for a short while.
